The BluePump is installed in April 2012 with the assistance of the Dutch/Burkina NGO "ASAP-Foundation" and by Issouf Sanon of the local Company DAFRA HYDRO. Before installation, the old and non-functional Volanta handpump has been taken out, a new platform was made and the borehole was cleaned with compressed air..
